About us

  • The Orthopaedics Department is well established to handle concerns like Musculoskeletal trauma, Spine disorders, Sports injuries, Degenerative diseases, Bone and Joint Infections, Tumours and Congenital  disorders.                                                                                                                 

  • In this Department , Emergency surgeries are done for Fracture cases in Emergency Operation Theatre.  Surgeries for  Fractures, Bone, Joint , Muscle, Tendon and Nerve  problems done here.

 

  • Dedicated Patient care, Teaching and Research are the Goals of our Department.

Patient Care

  • To provide Comprehensive and  Free of cost care for all Musculoskeletal disorders.

 

  • Advanced Surgeries are covered under CMCHIS scheme

 

  • Hip and Knee Joint Replacement surgeries done by our experienced surgeons with the latest technology provides the patient with a Joint that lasts a lifetime.

 

  • Patient care such as rehabilitation services and infection control are provided .

 

  • Speciality clinics are conducted for CTEV / Tumours / Sports Injuries / Arthroplasty / Spine / Rheumatological diseases / Disability Evaluation.

Patient Oriented Services

Out Patient care:
 We run our outpatient  services daily in our OPD Block from  07:30 AM to 12 Noon  with an average OP of 150 - 200 Patients .

In-Patient Care :
We have in-patient wards with a capacity of  80 beds (Separate for Male/Female/Children) .

  • Department has 2 Clinical Demonstration rooms. 1 in OPD and 1 in  Ward, with a capacity to accomadate 30 students at a time.

     Department library :

  • A Library containing 100 books .  It has a seating capacity of 10 members at a time. It is well ventilated and Calm.
